silk care

just give it a little bit o' love

We pride ourselves in using pure silk, sourced locally because after-all, the Silk Road notoriously stemmed from China.  Hailed as one of the strongest natural fiber, silk has incredible advantages . . .

Silk breathes so you'll stay cool in the summer heat or simply when you are literally, in heat.

Silk keeps you cool and refreshed for those moments of hot flashes and menopause.

Silk retains moisture so it will still keep you hydrated, naturally. It's got you covered when you forget to smear face cream before bed. Pst, Psst! Hydrated skin have fewer lines and more luminosity.

Silk is the most hypoallergenic of all fabrics because of its natural protein structures that ward off various environmental allergens such as dust mites, mold and fungus.  Studies have even shown improvements in patients with a serious skin condition, eczema, when they wear silk.

Silk has antimicrobial properties to alleviate yeast infection symptoms. In recent studies, silk underwear may reduce itching and redness caused by said infections.

Sleep on silk and you'll save yourself a trip or two to the hairdresser because hair glides on silk which prevents itself from knotting, bunching and static.

All the above said reasons increase the likelihood of a good night's dream.

Beauty sleep, guaranteed.

wash gently

To prolong the life of your PILLOWBOOK treasures, please take care of the pure silks with utmost delicacy.  As with all your lingerie, it should be individually hand washed with soft detergent, preferably from natural ingredients, and laid out to dry.  Machine wash, tumble dry, bleaching, soaking, twisting and wringing will cause rips, tears, discoloration and absolute damage.

Preserving beauty takes time and all it takes is a little bit o' love.
